How Much Does the SAWC/WHS Cost?
What will it cost to attend the 2008 SAWC/WHS? What does my facility need to do to send one or more attendees?
We understand that many hospitals and clinics have numerous budget restrictions when it comes to national conventions and educational meetings. However, the SAWC/WHS is one of the most cost-effective symposiums when you consider the amount of potential continuing education credits available and additional conference benefits. Allow us to explain what you should and should not expect to pay for at the 2008 conference in San Diego, California.
Attendee Registration
There are several levels of registration. For example, registrants can opt to attend only one day or several days of the conference at a daily rate. This allows those who do not have the time to attend the entire conference to save money. It also offers attendees who wish to save money a way to limit attendance to days that best apply to their practice.
Daily passes are offered at a rate of $200 per day and permit registrants to conference attend events that day (not including satellite sessions, which are free of charge, but require separate registration).
Rates for the entire SAWC conference are $450 for physicians and $400 for clinical professionals. You also can attend the pre- and/or post-conference sessions at a rate of $100 per session.
Student attendees are eligible for $100 discount on their registration. This discount cannot be combined with any other offer.

The cost of traveling to the SAWC will vary. Many airlines offer discounts on a daily basis and allow travelers to subscribe to receive notice of weekly sales and discounted tickets. Please check with individual airlines for their specific discount policy.
